Life and it’s curveballs

I’m flowing, pulsing, dripping with life, perhaps the main

reason is the absence of strife. I’m singing, and laughing and

talking aloud, now that I’m finally out from under the shroud.

I love my life now, the shape that it’s in, I now finally have a

plan to begin. You don’t know how nice it is to have that stress

off my back, it wasn’t that bad but when it hits what a whack.

Have you ever heard of the word jobs? I was sure I never would.

But I have some plans now and I intend to make good. There’s a few

more steps here that I have to endure, cause I need some more information

to make sure my will is pure.

We live in a place where it’s been taught women are expected to be thinner

than a piece of paper.

We live in a place where men should look like they live a healthy life and work

out and have six packs.

We live in a place where if a woman seems to be different she does not belong.

We live in a place where we have fear of not being worthy enough in this world.

The society we are in tells us we must be skinny, we must be fit, we should keep

our mouths shut, never speak unless spoken to, we must wear makeup but it has to be

natural because you’re too self conscious if you wear too much but you’re ugly if you

don’t wear any.

There is one thing that should be said

I’d like to thank my mentor Chasiti for almost half of my works because all story’s aside

Learning to always go with the choice that scares you most, that’s the one that is going to help

you grow has been a number one priority challenged.
