Life

My cheerful life, you inspire me to write.
How I love the way you run, walk and talk,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the happy hawk.

Let me compare you to a contender?
You are more thoughtful, caring and friendly.
Coy winds shake the leafage of September,
And autumntime has the enjoy pendley.

How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your blithe eyes, smartness and kindness.
Thinking of your fond smartness fills my days.
My love for you is the bright night blindness.

Now I must away with a daring heart,
Remember my warm words whilst we're apart.
