For Liberty and Justice for All

Location

I don't stand.

No.

I don't stand stand for that.

The "Pledge of Alegience."

No, I don't.

Now, before you go on

about how I am just "ignorant"

I want to state some of the words we all know:

"With Liberty and Justice for all."

with LIBERTY and JUSTICE for ALL.

These exact words,

Written in 1892 by a White Baptist Minister

With the IGNORANCE of the America around him.

Take a look at Ms. Lady Liberty.

1893. Texas. Henry Smith.

a Black Man.

Accused of raping a young girl.

Tied to a chair and presented around town with a sign that said:

"JUSTICE."

10,000 watched.

Sure.

They had time to write "JUSTICE" on him.

Yes.

But not the time to write "JUSTICE" in a JUSTIFIED trial

With a JUSTIFIED person called a JUDGE.

And other black men alike:

lynched in the 1890's

Average 187 per year

Two a week.

That were forced to not stand.

So I don't stand.

No, not because I am "ignorant."

No, because the words of the Pledge are "ignorant."

Ignorant of the hundreds of men and women who were killed under

"JUSITICE and LIBERTY. "

No I will not stand

for every man who's JUSTICE and LIBERTY were taken away

under the direct words of "with Liberty and Justice for all."

"For all."

All.
