Liability ...

1 Samuel 2:24-25

24 This ought not to be, my sons! For the report that I hear circulating among the Lord’s people is not good.

25 If a man sins against a man, one may appeal to God on his behalf.

But if a man sins against the Lord, who then will intercede for him?”

But Eli’s sons would not listen to their father, for the Lord had decided to kill them.

Reading in the bible, about Eli and his sons

how Eli was held libel for misbehavior they had done

So he reaped for not removing what was wrong

It cost the life of his children for generations to come

So to ignore the sins … which surround us all the time

Will not only destroy today … also tomorrow will decline

For the actions not taken … will burden life's chime

and what I leave my children is a responsibility all mine
