Letting Go

It was never easy for her.

Yet she did it.

After all these long years,

She did it.

Her heart was slowly closing.

Her love was dying.

She had a mission.

That she nearly failed.

But she did it.

She did it.

It pained her very much.

Tears fell down her face daily.

Yet she did it.

So much pain.

So much sorrow.

Many times she had to leave it all behind.

Her heart could not bear it.

Yet she did it.

She is strong now.

No more pain for her.

No more.

She can rest now.

Her heart is at ease.

She did what some still have trouble doing.

She let go.

This is for those that have trouble letting go what really hurts them. Hopefully this poem will let them know that they are not alone and they can let go.
