a letter to myself

Never filter what you write. Express your thoughts and feelings. Write about the things you can never let go. Write about the people and little things you adore. Write about the boy who possibly broke your heart. Write about love and loss, because it is you. You are being you, and that is true.Use inspiring, raw, exciting, nerve wrecking material in your work. Never give up. Pour your heart and soul into this. You can do it. I believe in you. You don’t need him, you never did. You’re better off. Connect with someone. Feel. Love. Explore the world and yourself. Find yourself in what you love to do. Be inspired by art, music, and beautiful places. Write in your journal, crying at 2 am. Get over it, pick yourself up, and tell yourself “everything will be alright”. Take a walk in the rain, look at the stars, stare into someone’s eyes and see through their eyes. Don’t try to be someone you’re not. Be yourself, live fully, live happily.
