A Letter to my Mentor
You took me under your wing,
And taught me like no other.
I learned so much from you,
In just one short summer.
The knowledge you gifted me,
Is the kind that lasts forever.
You've prepared me superbly,
I'm now ready to start my path of endeavor.
Our time together has come to an end,
And throughout the time spent,
I am glad to say,
I have one more friend.
Out into the the world, I now must go,
I will do everything you taught me with nothing short of gusto.
