Let's Build Mansions of Love
High-rises gleam wearing
Dazzling pieces of glass
While Mansions of old whiles
Fall with hopes despairing.
As wine, rave, grandeur and wealth vanish
In time’s immense storms that whirl,
The mighty and the highbrow vanish.
So do the fine man and the sweet girl.
The lowly and the wealthy perish
In trice and shall be concealed in loam.
Mansions of love that have no blemish
Alone shall sheen till the ends of time.
So let’s merrily build
Mansions of love unbound
By race and creed
And please our very God.
