A vast expanse of sky

And stars glaring in opposition

You can't

You just...can't

My perpetual quicksand

I stumbled across a lighthouse

The light is pervading

Shaming bioluminescence 

The stranger pulls the trigger

There is no greater lethality 

Volcanoes don't follow schedules

Half of me is burned away in the aftermath
