Let me

Let me accessorize your skin with the soft sweep of my lips

Complementary snuggles under blanketed warmth

Dizziness sets in,

Sedating

When I consider my capacity to love you any more then I already knew.

Let me defy time with you

Combating laws of physics and conservation of energy

It states nothing is at the mercy of creation or destruction

Yet when I fell for you

Abandonment and helplessness died

And adoration, patience, and love was created

However

Maybe these external forces were already present

It just took the right individual to awaken this

Forgotten lullaby.

Let me write down the ways in which I love you,

Or demonstrate *wink*

I could dance and sing the harmony my heart recognizes

When you’re presence is suddenly known by my physical response

Or I could paint a mural

Demonstrating the eternal aesthetic appreciation I will always have because of you

But fuck it I can’t paint.

Let me love you like you love me:

Solemn, moving quietly and respectably; yet loud and bold, announcing itself extemporaneously.
