Lessons

It is confusing you see

This path with which we seek

No map and no roads

Just a forest of untolds

They say it will be easy

They say it will be fun

And yet here I sit as they stand

No light and no plan

Trapped within walls

Higher than the sky

I clutch at my knees

Unsure whether to defy

With a sigh of exasperation

I find my feet to rise

The journey will be rough

The quests indeed shall be tough

But a small voice told me to stand

Stand now with pen in hand

Determination now festering

I’m ready for the pin

So step up to me with the page

And here we shall begin
