Legacy..

Oh grandfather! Your time here is done;

Your life has been full of sacrifices, and you have won.

The bells I hear, the angels are near, people are exulting,

And Jesus you soon will see, which will be amazing as can be.

My mind is sorrowed,

My soul in despair.

My heart I would let you borrow,

If that only meant you can stay, and that I could follow.

It is nearly noon,

You, though I hate to say, will be gone soon.

Be strong and courageous when you go,

For this is one of many things you have taught me an I will forever know.

You taught me to never worry about life,

to know that Jesus is always a step ahead.

Now it is time for you to know, it will all be okay when you decide to go,

I love you, and this I always want you to know.
