Left behind

Psalm 126:5

Those who shed tears as they plant
will shout for joy when they reap the harvest.

Where you are now left behind ... where do you find comfort?

Are you bathing in your tears ... while few are left to notice?

Life seems blind at times ... as it tries to sort

loneliness and fears as they appear out of focus.

Hope around the corner ... seems to be in hiding.

Expectations on the rampage ... with all dragging down

Even for the mourner’s sun ... at times comes smiling

to hide all the carnage ... that in grief and sorrows drowns.

Routine will slowly form ... all pieces into place.

Moves will become automatic ... on this new playing field.

Life will replace the dormant ... as we will face to face

remove all the pathetic ... as love itself will yield.
