Learning Who I Am

As time passes like a wave,

I've learned more and more about myself.

I've learned I am quite brave,

I can forgive and forget without knowing.

As I get older, its easier to behave.

I've became stronger and it's showing,

I opened more and more like a flower,

Layers and layers of me opening.

I've learned to love myself,

I was shown to be outgoing.

I finally felt what it means to be loved,

I've learned where my future is going.

Very nice Lilian. It's concise and to the point. Some people think a poem has to be long to make a point, but don't forgot about haiku. Good job.
