Lead You On

Tell me what lead you to this moment?

When the person you say you love falls, you stand

Tell me why you fight when she grew weary

She was a one woman army, not even armored.

Bare skinned fighting against 1.5 mil men

Using a water gun to fight the war in the desert

Not once did she turn her back on you

Fell flat on her face after a K.O, stood right back up

So tell me what lead you to this moment?

Can't utter a word. Don't know how to fix it?

She's waiting for you.

She's waiting on your words , to make her yours again

She may be in the corner of the boxing ring, bloody.

Just ask her those 4 words, "Will you be mine?", she'll get up and fight again

Don't you see she never needed saving?

She needed the reason to fight, not a fighter.

She needed the light, not a path.

She won't give up. She won't give in.

But it won't be long until her fighting slows, until they are barely there for she grew weary

Give her a reason. She is more than a pretty face in a crowd

What lead you to this moment?

What will it take to lead you to be hers again?

Even heros have a right to dream.
