Laughing is the best medicine

When I am down, and in the dumps

People say that I am quite the grump.

Although I can become quite corrupt,

I have an endless amount of pick-me-ups.

Like telling a joke, or being a clown,

Once I'm back up, I can't be brought down!

I'll laugh and I'll Jive and I make others bellow,

Once I'm all better I'm anything but mellow.

While creating new things, and helping the world go round may help Edison,

I've always been a philosipher of Laughter being the best medicine.
