LADDERS TO ETERNITY

Upon that road Only those without stains will ride Where with confidence The holy ones will advance Where all that had been laid Has all come to its end And those whose eyes were blind Have been given back their sight How great that day will be Since those who had died will be When those tongues were heavy Will be free from paying a levy High above their dear heads Will appear the golden clouds And bright rays of light Upon their heads will shine bright And the dead from their chambers With strength and glory will see the ladders And to the clouds all eyes will converge At that moment every wrinkle will discharge There will be no more time For anyone to forward a rhyme And all the trees in joy will shout When every secret will be put out And from his mighty command there will descend a ladder And all those found worthy HE will render And with his breath, the evil one will be blown And the rest will be thrown
