Lack of ...
John 9
9 Now as Jesus was passing by, He saw a man who had been blind from birth.
2 His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who committed the sin that caused him to be born blind, this man or his parents?” 3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but he was born blind so that the acts of God may be revealed through what happens to him
Lack of
A day to remember – I already forgot yesterday
The storehouse containing memories should ever be expending
The future bleak and empty as it lies waiting in the distance
Always just beyond our grasp and of what is awaiting
Life is beautiful as written available to all
Who knows who will accept this or the ones passing it by?
Does it really take exposure to the ones born blind?
The ones who lost touch long ago in whose hearts indifference lies
God is faithful this we know as we peek into nature
He provides for the birds and fish and the always laboring ants
He does not hold back rain and the sunshine for all
As he pours hidden blessings on all nations and all man
No one can survive intact in just forms of existing
No one can hold his own hand and find his way in darkness
Even common sense can see the confusion of one’s own mind
Maybe the sense of that is also a gift from Righteousness
Maybe Grace as we define it is mostly misunderstood
The natural and the saving are both a gift of God
The believer and unbeliever are partakers of bad and good
That Grace showers on mankind on the accepted and the not
If one accepts natural grace can the saving be far hidden?
Is the good that comes from the natural an idol to the world?
Is it that darkness turns and twists the gifts of God?
To its advantage here as it intermixes truth and lies in a swirl?
Has it not been written long ago that it's mankind that’s off course?
All creation lives up gradually to the expectation of its Maker
It started beyond the Garden that many showed no remorse
As they chose their lives to live to the desires of their own making
Is it not much worse than before just there’re more of us
Some live under tyranny’s hand and some feel fancy free
So this gives us a great excuse as we claim environment formed us
And we are not responsible for what we turned out to be
We claim we know about most of all and if not we’ll soon discover
We appoint self to equal to God as tolerance does not interfere
As judgment is slow in coming here we’ll fulfill own desires and hover
Over the elevated forms of selfishness as a special blessing here
