Lab monkey

Picking fruit and swimming in the trees

Spending time with family

Until the day of depravity

Homeland destroyed and community slaughtered

Snatched and sent overseas

To life science facilities

Never to feel the sunlight upon my face

Left in consent pain

completely terrified

Isolated

Tortured daily

Tied down, injected, force to inhale toxins

Burning chemicals poured onto my blistering skin

Just so you can wear make up upon your face

What did I do to deserve this?

Everyday I reach out

Sticking my hand out

From the cold bare mental cage

In my silent plea for some humanity
