A Knight Under The Stars

Upon the stars I did walk,
Head held high with pride,
The luminous, celestial diamonds made of chalk,
But I was not alone in my confident stride,
I felt a nervous arm anxiously clutching mine,
I glanced at the pink dressed angel next to me,
Us gliding across the stars was truly divine,
I felt adoring looks gleaming from she,
I was the silent, tantalizing, sacred night,
And she was the joyous, radiant, blessed day,
All worries and concerns disappear with her and mine delight,
The stars moved to our steps without delay,
In that moment, walking on crystal objects that seem so far,
I looked at her grace and realized I am her knight under the stars.
