From Kid to Grown-up

Oh the taste of greens

They do not look so appetizing

Compared to a cookie I’d much rather have

My parents tell me they are yummy

I do not wish to eat my greens

Again it is dinner time

And look, some spaghetti!

But there is bumpy lumpy things

Yet covered in sauce

Oh how it is so yummy

Green Grapes

Green Kiwi

Green Apple

Green Honeydew

I think I like the color green

What is this? It’s green, I’ll try it

A green miniature tree

Green stuff in a salad

All so sour, so sweet, so balanced

My mom is so proud of me

Good evening Mr. Waiter,

I am a vegan

What options do you have for me?

I prefer the green, no sugar, no dairy

Look mom, You’ve raised me good.
