Justify ... satire

Exodus 23:7 New English Translation (NET Bible)Keep your distance from a false charge—do not kill the innocent and the righteous, for I will not justify the wicked. Justify

Justify your feelings ... as these become your truth

without interfering ... you live like you want too.

You set your own standard ... accepting all you do

and now you rule your life ... and your idol is just “you”.

You loose the perception ... of what is wrong or right.

Standards set by self ... you defend with your might.

You’ll accept only advice ... if it levels in your sight.

You’re on top of your own world ... like a vulture in flight.

You’ll descend on every carcass ... of the ones who hopelessly died.

You tear the flesh from the bone ... and that with all your might.

You know you deserve all you have ... in spite of helpless cries

for you have the right to live ... ignoring the marvel “Why”?
