Just a Word

May I have a second?
May I have a word?
I wish to speak of matters
Some may not have heard.
Can you hear the callings,
The cries, and the wishes
We want the freedom
Not just a little
Not just a part!
Freedom to speak and be
And live lives free
Out away from the oppression
That has been going on for so long!
Everyone, speak loud!
For all to hear and see!
Looking have we been hurting
Ever so silently
Moths are as good as butterflies
Some are even better
It doesn't matter the colour of skin
It matters the colour of heart.
Many as fighting for hope and for light
And some are fighting to stop the right
Goodness will come if we never give in
Keep following the light.
