"Just Missing The Freedom"

I have been missing all the freedom life has bestowed upon me.

I was free to laugh and free to cry.

I was free to express my wants and needs & better yet why?

Why I miss it  oh boy you don't have a clue.

This is just the beginning and you would think I will never be through,

talking you to death or until your face turn blue

But I know when to back off so you won't Sue

I miss all the freedom I once had to chew

and walking freely in the rain  admiring the honey dew.

I miss all the freedom I didn't have before and I missed the ones I Knew.

Freedom to work  while I played which was a few.

I even miss the freedom to sing songs in a church pew.

I even missed the years of co mingling with the old crew.

There was so much freedom we stuck together like glue.
