Just Breathe

Just breathe.

Darling close your eyes and fill your lungs

This ladder of life you're climbing

Take it rung by rung.

When you feel like you are falling apart,

Take one hand and put it over your beating heart.

It works so hard to make you thrive,

Day and night, keeping you alive.

Don't give up now when you've come too far

You can't just quit, it's not who you are

This is part of the climb; it's only a test

Stop for a second and let your spirit rest

You're almost there, darling don't fret

And don't ever forget to just breathe.
