Jumbled

What happened to the girl I once knew
So vibrant free and true
Is she tangled up hidden far from our view
Where is the woman I once turned to
She was powerful
She didn't realize it
Now shes camouflaged herself
Surrounded by those who don't wish her well
I only wish she could see
The how far she's strayed from her own identity
How she was once someone I admired
Until she acquired
Beliefs she didn't aspire
Are you proud of who you are today
Putting others down pushing them away
Is this just a phase a character you play
How unfortunate it is to dishonor yourself this way
