For Jesse Rutherford

For Jesse

You’re a work of art, a flawless masterpiece

I fall in love with everything you release

Your music is a treasure greater than gold

You’re not really here, but you’re the hand I hold

You repair the bends in my heart

And keep me from breaking apart

I get lost in the beat

Got all your songs on repeat

I turn up the volume too loud

And I can’t help but feel proud

Of all your accomplishments and success

You just can’t be compared to the rest

I’m just another girl in the crowd of fans

That sings to your songs as loud as I can

This world is your stage

And you release my soul from it’s cage

Thank you for all that you do

I can’t imagine a world without you
