Jamal vs Lamaj

Living a double life, is easier than you think

Just wear the mask, loud and proud, no one will even blink

You play your role, you know who they want to see

The beloved son, the athlete, maybe even the geek

The difficulty comes when hiding what is underneath

Another you, gray and weakened, but yearning to speak

This one wants to be heard, this one has a story to tell

This other you has a story, its one about your personal hell

But never will he get a chance, you can't risk a squeak

Can't risk losing the reputation that you have on the street
