Jack and Jill 2019 - Adventures Without Medical Insurance

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water

Jack fell down and broke his crown

So Jill came tumbling after.

Jill up to run, called 911, and frantically waited,

Yet when the ambulance arrived

 a horror was created.

Jack ushered in by heros wearing uniforms of honor,

Who informed Jill to just hold still

and things would work for the better.

That was not so, I’ll tell you lo- the news that Jill was given:

The ambulance alone would cost

Jill’s pocketbook a fortune.

The people in the Hospital gave her quite the same message.

If Jack wants care, she’d pay the fare,

Jill gave this warning prestige.

Doc came in, and with a grin, announced this information:

procedure looked so costly; paying for Jack’s life would kill them.

The medical prices of today invented by a nut-case

Expense so high you’ll probably die

Or be worse off than in the first place.
