Stomps from every direction

Everyone clammed

Expecting a resurrection

SHE couldn’t wait

Lost all fate

There she laid

 

Frozen

Broken

Unspoken

 

It happened so fast

Everything was now in the past

 

We couldn’t believe it

She fell asleep

And at peace

She completed her cycle.

 

But somehow

I am at ease

I know I didn’t do the least.
