It's a Simple thing.

Thu, 10/12/2017 - 19:50 -- Epugh99

Love. A simple thing really.

It’s holding the polka dot umbrella for your sweetie.

It’s embracing their weak hand as tears fall from their pale face.

It’s bundling up their small frame when they get chilly.

Yet, It’s more than just sweet-nothings and caring actions.

Yet, it’s more than just wanting them to smile.

Yet, it’s more than just holding them when they’re around.

Love is feeling it in the pit of your stomach.

The feeling of ten million herds of elephants trying to do the Macarena.

Or twenty thousand ducks playing the trumpet.

It’s a inner Greek war led by Athena.

You love me.

I love you.

Love is all of this.

-It’s a simple thing, really.
