it's not that important that we know who fought for us.

it's not that important that we recognize the warriors,

does it really matter if we lost all those men?

does it really matter that we didn't have to go fight?

does it really matter that they risked everything for us,  

cuz who really cares what happens overseas?

 

no one minds if I don't say the pledge. 

no one minds if I don't know which wars we won. 

no one minds if I don't stand for the veterans,

i don't have to be a patriotic citizen.
