It's Another Day

I roll over and look at the time

It’s another day to be a happier me

I grunt but pull back the sheets

It’s another day to be a happier me

I look in the mirror and feel fine

It’s another day to be a happier me

Upstairs I cook up some good eats

It’s another day to be a happier me

Being up this early was unheard of

But it’s another day to be a happier me

Before, I’d sleep away my pain

But it’s another day to be a happier me

I use to look in the mirror and feel disgust

But it’s another day to be a happier me

I’d starve to feel like things were my way

But it’s another day to be a happier me

Smiling wide, I face my life

Because it’s another day to be a happier me
