I want what’s best for you, but I have to do what’s best for me.

I thank you for what you helped me create,

They are my closest treasure.

I wish for you what I have but know only you can do it.

I want you to know them but its best to keep you at a distance.

I don’t miss what you have, it’s a crippling demon.

It sucks the joy from life and crushes ambition.

I want you to reach the other side with me,

But I know what’s best for me.

It can’t be you because you know only sadness.

I strive for life and all that comes with it.

Seek deep inside yourself,

And maybe in another life you can be mine.
