It Started With A Baby

It Started With A Baby

It started with a baby

With inky locks and charcoal eyes

Who dressed as a Telletubbie for Halloween

And sat all day and cried

That baby turned into a toddler

That was admittedly, a bit shy

He’d cry when his mama left him

And was left out to dry

He then became a child

Bright, but reserved and fearful

The teacher asked him what was wrong

And this caused a response quite tearful

He grew into a teenager

That sulked throughout the halls

And was too afraid to make eye contact

And admit he played with dolls

He grew into a young man

Who viewed the world as a moral time bomb

He slit his wrists and the story ended

With a note titled “Sorry Mom”
