It Happens Once

Sun, 03/03/2013 - 19:51 -- Lomuse

I stayed in one place,
Surrounded by strangers,
All my life without any chase,
Never seeing what kind of danger,

That I was being put in,
Couldn't leave,
Lost at sight and then,
I would weave,

In and out,
Running away,
All about,
I cannot stay,

Anymore, I find,
My own way,
Though I am too blind,
To become astray,

From myself,
And what I have become,
I longed for help,
But need none,

Anymore, I ran alone,
For the longest time,
In my own zone,
It was the highest climb,

I had taken,
Leaving everything behind,
Me and allowing no more fakeness,
Which is how I became this kind,

And I realized,
That it only happens once,
Life with all of its paths and challenges,
It only happens once.
