but school is important for your future, what you do in school, will follow you forever

Society has taught us, that school is to be hated

putting in effort is too much work when you can sit around, sedated

That kids love learning, they just hate going

But kids who go to school, every day, you’re actually growing

“The education system is so fucked up.”

Yeah, but it’s the best we got, so please grow up

School will give us the tools so when we grow older

we, ourselves, can fix what’s left to smolder

To use our fucked-up education that was given to us to make it better

So kids can decently write a letter

to us, in the future, the head of their education, and tell us

that their education system is so fucked up

There’s no pleasing kids, they just don’t want to do work

spending all day goofing around, trying to twerk

The education system may be “fucked up” but so is your lack of drive to do well in school

Grow up, make change, and stop being so cruel

Use your hate as a motivation

to beat the system, to change a whole nation

work hard at what you’re given to make a difference

stand up, stand out, put away your and the system’s indifference

So one day, you can grow up and say

“School is hard, but we’ll all make it one day.”
