As It Falls

Fri, 11/28/2014 - 22:34 -- Leyoht

As it falls,

It falls

It falls

I see a red ring,

red ring

red ring

What once was my bath has now become my bed:

A place for me to forever lay my head.

At one point, transparent; all I see is red.

How happy would I be if someone knocked me dead!

Leaving me alone, now behind a locked door.

You don't even care--for you have love to store.

Give it to your man cause he deserves it more,

But he deserves to know what I had before.

Perhaps I am evil, or maybe Deceit.

Why else would you knock me off my own two feet?

Why would anybody like to have me beat?

The answer: obvious to all I will meet.

Life is not what I had known it all that time ago.

All that time I had spent away from the blowing snow.

Holding your hands because it would keep away the crow.

Who'd have thought I'd be foolish enough to let you go?

All that blame set upon my shoulders for you to see

Notice what I've become, without you right beside me.
