Inveigled

We are here once again

In this room once again

Of four, no walls

Whispering dangerous nothings once again

I'm asking you, yes you

When will you allow the voices to echo

When will you stop the hurricanes of silence

When will you dream of lasting forever

Without being caught

I forgot. That is not a dream but

It is the reality we both live

Why must you suck me into your blackhole

Why must you chain me down

By my mouth

CAn you unlock the cuffs that have

Long rusted to my dry lips

They don't get weaker

They get stronger

As I pull and I desperately pull

They turn  brown

Like the whispering leaves that fall

And eventually are forgotten

And stepped on carelessly, unnoticed

And the suffocation

Comes out in stale breaths

Years have passed, weeks have passed

Maybe more, maybe less, I lost track

Because he hasn't let any of us go
