Internal perspective

2 Corinthians 10:1

The Spiritual War

10 Now I, Paul, myself am pleading with you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—

Who in presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you.

Internal perspective … evaluation

If everyone was as good as the best ... all would be mediocre.

Everyone would be like the rest ... in a card-deck full of jokers.

The company made choices ... to get the folks they have.

The stronger and the weak ones ... the ones they had to have.

Now I am told to label ... everyone by number

in a team that tries to be ... but is still in youthful slumber.

Wake up now and judge ... the ones I’ve known so long.

Where will I stuff their future ... where stops right from wrong?

Choices I make every day ... as another’s future is involved.

Someone else depends on it ... and that needs to be solved.

How will I tell another ... to do their very best

because my future is involved ... and also of the rest?

So will I get what I deserve ... is this my wakeup call?

Do I need to recommit ... and get back on the ball?
