Interior darkness

A house made with a foundation solely of brick

Walls that are strong, and eternally thick

Garnished with bright colors, warm, and inviting

but a great door stands tall, closed, and confiding

For inside this structure lies a world unknown

A secret that is dark, and yet to be shown

The walls are scarred by events of the past

Holes created, and forgotten, remaining vast

A building that appears complete and stable

Yet lacks something, like a three legged table

the exterior shines, looking brilliant and well

but only to hide a true resemblance of hell

This beautiful house was built, the creation of two

abandoned by one, to be finished in a false view

Yet it stands tall, and delightful to those who see

concealing the dark secrets that should never be

The interior black, damaged, and disorderedly

Its inner secrets, never addressed accordingly

If seen the house would forever be rejected

The witnesses wishing it had just been corrected

And so the house sits, with its exterior glory

None knowing the reality of its inner story

Forever hidden inside the incredible shell

Concealing the demons, like a fictitious cell
