Job 28:21 “Wisdom”

“It is hidden from all the living and concealed from the birds of the air”

 

Proverbs 2:6 

6 For the Lord gives wisdom,
and from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

 

Why are all the special things ... hidden from the masses?

Why does it take great searching ... for us to find treasure?

Is it a state of heart ... where one does make decisions

and sets the priorities ... as there the cost gets measured?

 

But for wisdom one can search ... and never find it

for it is not really hidden ... but a gift of God.

Not a product of experience ... as the past clearly shows.

It is basic food to still hunger ... for the righteousness of God.

 

Everything created ... surely cannot find it.

It is however certain ... that most all survive by it.

Except the human beings ... who in their deprived estate

think to have all the answers ... but they won’t die for it.

 

Only when you’re willing to die for it … you are able to live

only when you give up … “all the treasures” of this world.

Then one will gather wisdom ... in measures yet unknown

surely enough to recognize ...  as simple truth unfurls.

 

It will cost you everything ... particularly your good habits.

It will make you different ... and lifts you out of the temporal.

Your focus will be rearranged ... as from Life Him-self you receive it.

and things won’t be the same ... for now you’ll live the Eternal.

 

Surely you’re dead to this world ... even though you’re still in it.

You’re alive to every one ... although they’ll think you’re nuts.

But you’ll get them to thinking ... without even speaking any words

for so are the ways of wisdom ... it goes right for the reason’s guts.
