Inside the Light

Wed, 01/22/2020 - 19:20 -- GraceKA

Everything is here, they say

Everyday is normal, they say

Living inside this

Expansive “life”

Life is real and life

Is there, and finite.

Right?

Wondering, wandering, following and mourning

They then realise that the Sun

Has left them, the Moon has gone

Away, We remember the suffering

And we feel the pain of Yesterday coming faster and faster, closer

And rumbling.

Is it possible to run away?

Motionless, I move from the cycle of

Human death.

Lovingly I cease to the see darkness of the

Beautifully perfect sanctuary leaning

Against my soul.

Whispering, he knows I’ve won and

Crying, I know I am not

The winner, but leaping, I am certain

Life is more than everything we know.
