To be in love is to be insensible
It's to be beyond all practicality
To some it's incomprehensible
No where near normality

It can only be understood
By those who are caught in it
You don't do some things you should
But you wouldn't take back one minute

You make sacrifices to be with your love
You do away with things you'd normally keep
This person seems like a gift from above
You always think of this person before you fall asleep

When you have been wronged by your loved one
Your heart is painfully splitting apart
And when by you the wrong has been done
Your hearts still standing in the dark

The feeling of love is matched by no other
Filled with so much joy and often heartache
The deeper you fall you will sooner discover
There is nothing worse than to have your heart break
