Insecurity

A pulsating paranoia ignites under the skin

Overwhelming anxiety ensconces a soul within

Starvation and suffering spreads like ravenous diseases

As a fragmented existence shatters into pieces

Immaculate destruction eviscerates a society

As exuberance and illumination drowns in notoriety

Forgotten souls dance on the falling Sands of Time

Through our cracking hourglass on these hands of mine

Annihilated safety pulls the triggers of hostility

As foreign blood stains the internals of every household utility

Red oil plagues the footsteps of the passed endeavor

Contemplated self-destruction that will imminently sever

Plaguing repentance hovers over our minds and peers

Drowning me in insecurity for now and the future years

Insecurity envelops every trace that we may hide

But we cannot block out the insatiable worry that is inside

Insecurity stalks the psychological engine within you

And soon even the psychological engine will be made foreign too

Insecurity segments any sense of serenity or safety

As our planet has been devouring itself lately

What would I change in this intricate weave of trouble?

I would change all of the above problems that are causing rubble

Causing problems and causing

Insecurity
