Innocence two

1 Peter 2:7

So you who believe see His value, but for those who do not believe,

the stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,

 Innocence

Smiling in the sunset dreams of yesterday

Gathered innocence already paid for

Kind of out of place searching for a way

To fill expectation worth the waiting for

“What will be will be”, never came to heart

Does it take a lot to fill the hands of children?

Who can really see the most hidden parts?

Of the lives that forget that we are all kindred

Standing in the doorway were the faithful gather

Eyes probing the distance for what is already here

What will the heart proclaim, does it really matter?

As God removes the hindrance in this special sphere

Where does love reside when eyes are probing?

When the inner person searches in deep hunger

Attention from above always is ongoing

Unexplained mercy in covering our longing

Will you find peace as one who hides in the shadow?

Do you realize the position that you’re assigned?

Is it not neat, that your gifts are like a swallow

That delivers from frustration the ones we confine?
