Initiate Me in Fire

Fri, 07/04/2014 - 15:27 -- Itiopia

Tell God to initiate me in fire. Purge me of all the socialization and expectations of those both apathetic and complacent. Especially those who stand adjacent to our dying infants.
Look at all of these grown children thought leading and think tanking.                                              Shall we all drown?
With respect to your views, thoughts, and convictions; each of these in their full beauty must be used for building blocks of self-realization not intellectual fortresses of political correctedness to retreat behind.
We need your mind, body, and spirit not your Public Relations representative in order to help us navigate the original darkness.
Initiate me in fire oh Jah.
Let my Rites of Passage bubble and flame.
Let us never focus more on the explanation over to whom it must be explained.
Let each person be an active cell in the body of our resistance.
Each unit of our matter will push and pull until what was built by death is destroyed, and what was built on compassion is restored.
Initiate me in fire and burn all of the books of historical fiction within the cannon of Western Literature.
Initiate men in the same fire of the starving children from Baltimore to Bahrain and Burundi.
Initiate me in the same fire of the fear and frustration of every rape victim from the Democratic Republic of Congo to India.
Initiate me in the fire of drone attacks from Yemen to Somalia.
Initiate me in the fires of environmental racism from Cancer Alley in Louisiana to the Ghanaian Coast where corporations pay day laborers to burn toxic E-waste.
Initiate me in fire.
I hope it consumes everything before we do....
