Influential
Gal. 1: 16-17
“God was pleased to reveal His Son to me in order
that I might preach among the gentiles and I did not
refer to flesh and blood nor did I go to Jerusalem
to those who were apostles before me, but again I
returned to Damascus”
Influential
The Spirit is not affected by outside influence.
It is fully engulfed in the spiritual realm.
It is independent of the soul and worldly pretenses
as it’s ever overflowing with the power of God’s Son.
The sense of the soul and the intuition of the Spirit
are distinctively opposite in their destiny.
One travels to dust and the other to the Eternal
as one represents death and the other what should be.
When both appear similar Christians get confused
and consequently, are followed by many opinions.
Emotions then become a major part of the “Spirit”
and their passionate feelings of the Lord’s direction.
Emotional Christians, who are at times deeply searching,
tend to forget their despair ... that got them to this point.
They will become cold hearted in matters of difference
in their self-justification measure the ones not their own.
The search then is on for gifts from the Holy Spirit,
like hunting eggs for Easter for self and for joy.
Surely seeking earnestly to fill one’s own basket,
gathering with one’s own strength the things one can employ.
Is this what it takes ... to walk by the Spirit
or is Truth only understood by God’s revelation?
Is not the foundation of our spiritual service
to know His Will magnified by His Communication?
