17 Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.

“To know good and not to do it is sin”

To know good is not sin ... it depends upon the manner.

What is the motive behind such and Who is the foundation?

How deep is self-involved in it ...maybe in natural goodness

or is the Holy Spirit part of it and built on regeneration?

Sin and self are different ... in sin’s absence still self is there.

The natural is creeping always ... through self towards consecration.

Even in the most Holy Work ... self is there at stake

and in the most spiritual walk ... self tugs at duration.
