Infinity

I stand tall and strong,

powerful and persistent.

My power does not stem from my body or even my mind, though they can perform amazing deeds,

but rather because of my refusal to compromise when compromise is not right.

I am powerful because I refuse to say I am worthless.

I will not devalue myself

I will not devalue my fellow human being

And I refuse to fasten my own muzzle.

Do not tell me that I possess no power.

That there exist problems I cannot solve.

That sitting and staying silent are the right things to do.

When others see me, they see a face,

an earthly being.

But when I look at myself, I see infinity.
